So where can you purchase a single track

My GF has a CD where one track doesn't play. I was going to purchase the song, rip the other tracks from the CD, and make her a new CD. This should be legal because she already owns the CD. So where can I legally purchase and download an actual MP3?

If she owns the CD, you could legally have anyone rip that track and send it to you\her. Or download it from any one of the "usual" sources.

Well, I don't know anyone else with the CD, and frankly if I were to look in the usual sources, I wouldn't even know where to start to tell you the truth...
