So when you've got a bad case of toenail fungus. . .

My toenail is crumbling. It hurts all the time, I've got half of it cut away. I've used every over the counter anti-fungal - and tea tree oil.

Any more ideas?

I know someone that cleared that up by soaking the affected toe w/ bleach.

My stepdad had the same problem. His doctor gave him an oral and topical anti-fungal prescription. He had to take the pill for 3 months.

your doctor can prescribe some pills that will kill the fungus.

you can't treat it with topical treatments.

your doctor can prescribe some pills that will kill the fungus.

The only problem with that pill is it can cause serious liver damage which could kill you whereas a nasty toenail won't....your choice.

on the serious side try taking acidophilus. can be found at your lacal natural remedies store. it works in the stomach to control bad fungus. Really this worked for my dad... and he also had the most rancid smelling feet
