Cuz I'm thinkin' the recyclin' dudes prolly get pissed off when they got ground up limes in the glass ya know? They gotta go pick them sh|ts out and prolly get all cut up. Ya know?

Well regardless, it's been fun spending the last 5 minutes devizing a way to get the lime out only using tools with in reach of my chair, hehehe. Managed to snag it with a safety pin and I'm suckin on it as we speak!

Lol. Nice. Now I'm gonna have to try that.

Bah, it's easier to just fling the lime out when you are finished. Just hold firmly to the empty bottle, and fling it forward, forcing the lime out the top.

That might work if you go cheap on the lime.

Return them where for what?

Yeah, I know, recycling...here in Kahleeforneeya, there's no deposit to speak of, just the CA recycling fee (4 cents), and unless you have a truck-load, it's almost not worth the hauling. I just toss mine in the recycling can that the trash guys pick up weekly. Let them hassle with the bottles...Cans on the other hand are worth hauling. Currently $1.50/lb here.

Dude, the In-N-Out topic is back that way.
Besides, the lime makes the corona taste better. I hope you've never put ketchup or mustard on a burger, cause that's just as trendy and would go against your ways.

The In-N-Out discussion was about something completely different. And I'm still going to say what I want, even if it pisses you off. *whips out violion* :music:

So what about the ketchup/mustard on a burger?

Okay, want a rant on that? Fine. How come people put ketchup and mustard on a burger? Same reason they put ketchup and mustard on hot dogs, sausages, french fries, mashed potatos, home fries, sloppy joes, and many, many other sandwiches and side dishes: they like how it tastes. Now how come people only put limes in Corona, a light piss beer that tastes pretty much exactly the same as hundreds of other light piss beers? Because it's trendy bvllshit.

$1.50/lb on aluminum cans? That's a government subsidy right there - the current commodity price for HEAVY (i.e. HEATSINK) aluminum for recycling purposes is around $.60 - lighter aluminum (panels, etc.) is lower, and can-grade aluminum is nearly worthless.

Why not drink beer that tastes good? If you need to add to it to make it palatable, something is wrong.

to each his/her own is why. Corona is not my beer of choice by a long shot, but that doesn't mean i'll turn my nose up to it.
and yeh... it tastes better with a lime. so does coke. coke /w lime and spiced rum is good sh#t.
