With all the pandering, than vote skipping that McCain does you have to wonder if he is more of a leaf in the wind than Hilary. It seems McCain is too much of a politician to actually take a stand on anything at all and just sort of avoids the vote if he can. Not only does he avoid the votes, but he does after saying he will support the votes cause.

Senator John McCain skipped out on a vote this afternoon on a bill that creates a path to legal residency for college students who entered the United States illegally with their parents (Oct 24th, huffingpost.com)

Yet McCain is now pandering the Hispanic vote continuesly when skipping votes that affect them greatly.

So will this change once he is in office if he wins? Or is America going to vote in a president who smiles at everyone and tried to be everyones friend when not having the political will to actually make his case clear and back it up. (With actual votes, rather than skipping the vote than commenting on it) He did good in 2000 in regards to sticking to his morals, has he thrown that all away so easily now?
