so when my cell phone rings my alarm clock buzz!

so when i get a call on my cell phone..my alarm buzzes when it's close to it like 1 foot away..can anyone explain this?

i have a nokia 3360? something with radio waves? it never happen with my sprint phone?? why is that?

Wow... thats pretty freaky...
Maybe its just resonance from your cell's speaker > alarm clock speaker... even though I've never heard of such a thing...

Yeah, your phone is probably ringing at the resonant frequency of your buzzer. I've had similar things happen to me. It's really confusing for a while.

happens with my nextel/motorola phone and any speakers im close to all the time, just some kind of interference i guess

yip, i have the Nextel/motorola i1000 and when i have it im my car next to my radio i can hear clicking in my speakers when it checks for messages. also if im talking on my cell and regular landline there is a constant clicking noise on the landline connections.

when my nokia 8260 rings in my car, the speakers let out this sick noise only if there was a tape inside. (which i use for my mp3 cd player)

i never understand why, but i'm sure its the frequency of the waves clashing.

They make silent alerts that flash, vibrate, etc. when an incoming call is detected within a couple meters.

I dunno exactly how they work, but apparently there's something they can pick up on.

same thing with my nokia phone and my walkman next to it - goes haywire and i get static in my headphones and blow my eardrums out

so i am not the only one.. well actually it happens to my gf but i thought it was just her i guess...then she called me at work todya, and my neighbor has an alarm clock she uses for FM radio...and it happenned..i was like huh ?then i called my cell and her alarm went berzerg =)

just wondering what it was

My old Nokia phon used to something similar. When I was working as a mechanic I would leave my phone on top of the radio in the shop. I always knew when it was about to ring because the radio would start buzzing.
