So "When is PCIExpress rollout?"

I've heard a lot about PCIexpress. I know PCI-X is out already but how long will it be before PCIExpress motherboards ship? What are they waiting for anyway, is it so they can introduce the new processor socket type at the same time? (the new socket type thing I've heard about briefly but admit I don't know much about!)

From everything that I've read it looks like the first BTX motherboards with PCI-Express slots will be released after the first half of 2004. This could be anytime in the second half of the year.

Its going to start showing up on some OEM and server products before May. After that the first full scale implementation you will see will be on Socket 775 motherboards.
