So, when do you think the "Mariano Rivera, the man with the electric personality"signs get pulled at Fenway?

I am sure the animals will be out in full force . Imagine what will be said in the bullpen. Savages.

BTW, I am very bitter over the Braves losing. So cram it with walnuts, ugly! ;>)

:Q That's cold. I'm all for heckling and such, but don't make personal attacks. It's got nothing to do with baseball.

after the texas pitcher threw a chair into the stands, one of the other players said something kinda profound.
"Yea we're baseball players, and a certain amount of heckling is expected, but we're human beings too. No where else than professional sports do people go into someones workplace and jeer and taunt them as they try to make a living. Because we happen to get paid well for our services, doesn't make us want to recieve the poor treatment of fans, including personal attacks upon family. My mother had passed away the day before, and it was in the papers, and sure enough the next day there was a rude fan calling me out by name calling my mother a dead whore, who the hell wants to hear that when they go to work?"

Never thought of it that way, it definatley sucks.

I hope Red Sox fans have more class than to do that kind of stuff.

I wouldn't be surprised if some tools thought that a sign like that is an appropriate response to the "Who's your daddy" t-shirts, heh.

I would imagine that anyone with a sign like that would be escorted out (although who knows, maybe that would just be here in Seattle, where they were PC to the point of making people wear Yankees Suck shirts inside-out).

They don't. No city does. There's too many stupid, drunk people that live in these places to avoid this kind of stuff.

i think i could handle it for that kind of money. isnt that all "part of the game", like steroi.... er...supplements?

You could handle people yelling at you that your mother is a dead whore? That's not part of the game, it's not part of being a fan. Real fans can get a little more creative.
