"Yea we're baseball players, and a certain amount of heckling is expected, but we're human beings too. No where else than professional sports do people go into someones workplace and jeer and taunt them as they try to make a living. Because we happen to get paid well for our services, doesn't make us want to recieve the poor treatment of fans, including personal attacks upon family. My mother had passed away the day before, and it was in the papers, and sure enough the next day there was a rude fan calling me out by name calling my mother a dead whore, who the hell wants to hear that when they go to work?"
