a) People referring to other people's weight gain try to be nice about saying "You're a horrible, fat, cow of a person"
b) People referring to their own weight gain are almost always oblivious to how bad it really is.

Marketting gimmick for online dating stuff. If you literally have a few extra pounds you are average in online dating lingo. Full figured often means, figure resembles a sphere. Girls get lots of stuff like that. There's also curvy which means the same thing as a few extra pounds.

I haven't figured out what stocky means yet, nor "thick".

Although I did go out with someone who listed a few extra and she meant it literally.

Anything "bigger" than athletic/fit/thin--yes, including average--is FAT. Americans on average are fat, thus an "average" sized woman is truly fat.

i think all these euphemisms just mean FAT FAT FAT

"average" in reality probably means a few extra pounds nothing to be scared away from though.

Thanks for the definition but it doesn't answer the question. It would be like having an option for morbidly obese but having it mean the same thing as "a few extra pounds". Who's going to chooce morbidly obese when "a few extra pounds" means the same thing? That's what I don't get about thick and stocky. I feel like they have a different meaning. Like maybe stocky means dwarf and thick means stupid.

i would consider beyonce thick. but in online profiles its a euphemism.
