So when can we expect SP3 for WinXP to come out?

I heard that it was supposed to come out at around the same time Vista comes out for consumers.

Probably all the security updates and patches up to the date it's finally released, as well as stuff like IE7.

Yeah it's going to be nothing more than a "rollup". Like they did for Win2K. Nothing new, just one big patch of all the windows updates since the last SP.

wasn't microsoft going to a take the aero feature from vista and put it into windows xp with sp3? I could be wrong though.

There was talk of adding WinFS and one other major feature from Vista. But for the life of me I can't remember what it is... 🙁
