So whats your job and how much do you get paid

i get paid £10.53 an hour that is $19.47 an hour, i currently do 2nd line tech support for a comapny called fujitsu here in the UK ... so how about you guys

I am interested in what the sort of wage is in america for different jobs, this being cuz i might be looking to move over there for a while like a year or summin. I am only 21 ;)

yeah i did .. but im wondering on what people get paid aswell for what they do, the reason being is i dont have a clue on what the pay and jobs are like in in america ... lol if i did go over there i would probs have to work at Maccy D's or burger king or summin.. my education over here probs dont count as much over there, but i dont know ill have to find out .. also what does a resume mean? is it the same as C.V over in the UK

I get paid $9.61 an hour at my manual labor warehouse job but they are constantly pushing for a promotion for me and I know I will be receiving a raise soon. $9.20 an hour for my second job doing security guard work (Security jobs normally only pay ~$5.25 an hr)... That's watchin' cameras and crap. I get 72hrs a week combined but I'm gonna hafta drop the security job once the bills are paid.

Anyway, the current exchange rate is garbage. It's making your pay look very good but you really only get that benefit if you continue working there and shopping here. :D

Yeah your def right bout the exchange rate ... so what do you reckon my eage would equate to in america

Call Center techs typically start at $10 an hour or less even with certifications, but the local ones where I live seem to be better ($12 an hour). I can't work for my local utility company for $12 an hr because my brother also works there and they have rules against that. :(

$8 an hour doing excavating.

basically i shovel the dirt around, and sometimes i run the equipment, and i install pvc for the downspouts, and cluean up around the jobsite.

12 hours a day.
