someone smack me in the head.. i lost grip of nVidia video cards..

i see this mx4000 based video cards.. but i cant guess which family it's from

is it gf2 mx400 derived? or gf4mx440 derived?? :p

i'm telling ya.. there are too many numbers i bet even nVidia engineers get confused sometimes

Pretty much, based off a GF2 design. You're better off getting any number of better video cards in the same price range. Used GF3s, GF4s, used Radeons, etc.

And many of the MX4000s are equipped with a 64-bit memory bus width, which makes them the crap that crap craps.

YOu're better off with a GF3 Ti 200 from eBay. Those things go for super cheap. At least then you don't have to guess about whether or not you get 128 bit memory.

The geforce MX4000 has 32BIT memory. Not 128, not even 64, but 32. GRADE A+ POS.
