Lawyers would make mince meat of your comment above. Document trail is essential for any business, from the smallest to the largest. Electronic storage is not necessarily any cheaper either, especially true for small firms. Why? Such tasks would have to be outsourced by the majority of the companies because they lack the necessary infrastructure.

yep. True document and audited/certifiable document management is expensive. 1 million+ at least.
