So my current position is a manufacturing engineer but I'm wondering whats the difference between a manufacturing engr and a process engr.

A process engineer is everything you aspire to be. It's too bad that you have reached the peak of your genetic potential as a human being. In a few years your entire life will have been replaced by a $60k robot. Sad, isn't it?

haha, oh come on! Serious answer now!? The reason why I ask is because my company is planning to hire a process engr and I think it is unnecessary because I think manufacuturing engr is basically the same thing.
