(refering to the Windows clients)
1. Are both slower overall on every type of system?
2. Is one of them faster overall? Like we decided GUI 2.70 was faster than GUI 2.04 or CL 2.4. What's the case now? GUI or CL 3.0?
(linux question)
Is 3.0 faster or slower than 2.4 in linux? Also what is the difference between
i386-pc-linux-gnu-gnulibc2.1
i386-pc-linux-gnulibc1-static
Are they just using different libraries? I think I've run both of them so I think my system has all the necessary libraries. Is one of these faster than the other?
Also, has anyone tested an i686 client versus an i386 client and seen a difference?
