Half life 2 doom 3 halo 2. The hype has succeded and now I have nothing to look forward too other than quake 4 which looks predictable. Whens stalker coming. What else do we have to look forward to?

Not as good as KOTOR IMO it just didnt suck me in like KOTOR did.. and I dont even have the will to replay it over and over liek KOTOR... kinda a let down.. definatly not what Id call an uber title...
but then again Halo2 and HL were pretty ho hum too...

so far Sims2 and WoW only 2 games this year that really lived up to the pre launch hype..

I'm looking forward to KOTOR 2 and Republic commando, despite the fact that many recent Lucasarts games and movies have been big letdowns.

Also, Dungeon Siege 2, Battlefield 2, Black and White 2, Empire Earth 2, Age of Empires 3 and probably more if I reread PC Gamers from the past 2 years.
They do previews on tons of games that dont see daylight until 2-4 years later.
I'm still waiting on the Imperium Galactica 3 project which has changed names 4 times and changed owners 3 times. Elder Scrolls 4 is looking promising.
Serious Sam 2 has been out for a while now.

I look forward to all these games even when I know half will be big dissapointments and all of them have been delayed several times. I think its a holdover from my NES days. I'm just so deperate for entertainment.

PS. Duke Nukem Forver :)

EDIT: Since you asked about this years killer games, I think that if anyone of these isnt a huge dissappointment then it will be KILLER.

Looks like after KoTOR II on Feb8, there is BATTLEFIELD 2 PCHB/DOOM 3:
Resurrection of Evil Expansion Pack (i WON'T be getting this one)/Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory are due in March,
FEAR/Team Fortress 2/STALKER are due in May,
GTA-SA/Black & White 2/Ghost Recon II are due in June

Don't forget GTA:SA for PC - June 7th.

I'm looking forward to TFC 2, I still place TFC almost every day. 2fort and dustbowl are still teh fun.

Hard to pick some sequels. We know what to expect from KOTOR 2. Dungeon Siege 2 might be interesting.. the first was fun but had a lot of major flaws including difficulty settings. AOE3 is probably the one I'm most interested in currently.

I'm awaiting Dangerous Waters (which just went gold) and Silent Hunter III (which looks about two months out). Gotta get back to sinking some ships ...

Splinter Cell 3 has changed title name to Splinter Cell Chaos or something like that.
