So, what's everyone doing for Earth Day?

I'll probably drive a few extra blocks to work, use aeresol cans, litter, and pee on the neighbors cat. Earth day is freakin retarded.

While I don't expect everyone to care particularly about earth day, why do so many of you take pride in the fact that you're contributing to the destruction of our environment? It's one thing to be indifferent, and it's another to actually WANT to live in a dirty, polluted world.

Yeah, I was going to say the same thing. But I figured I would just be told to lighten up or somesuch.

But come on, I hope you all seriously don't think like that. That's just sick.

Who said anything about taking pride? Maybe it was a joke. I dont work today, i have no hair to spray down, and I couldn't tell you whether or not my neighbors have a cat. The littering is a tossup.

Think of it as providing jobs. If we didn't have a pollution "crisis" thousands of people accross the spectrum from manual laborers to engineers would be out of work. Also, do you honestly think the human race will cease to exist because we'll run out of landfills? No, I dont think so.

They're just being smartasses.

I do my bit: I don't toss my cigarette butts on the ground. 😀

Oh boy, here we go.

Uh, that isn't the point. The issue isn't us killing ourselves out of existance, WTF? The issue is quality of life.

Wasting paper, electricty and gas. With any luck I'll make up for everyone else today. Mwahahahahahahaha 😀

I'm gonna have a BBQ, mow the lawn, burn the cut grass with some leaves, spray paint the car, drink some beers and throw away the glass bottles 😀

I'm going to drive home in my SUV...as I do everyday.

Actually, I'm pretty sure my SUV is emitting less pollutants than my wife's old 1994 BMW did. That thing was on a list with the state of CA. We always had to take it to a test only station to get it smogged-kind of a PITA.

Maybe I'll go hug a tree during my lunch break. 😀

Not a damn thing.
