So, what's everyone doing for Earth Day?

I drove my SUV to work today. Didn't even realize it was Earth Day. Of course, I wouldn't have done anything different even if I had.

Maybe I'll go hug a tree during my lunch break.

Doing stuff just for Earth Day seems kind of retarded. Oh wow, I rode a bike to work one day out of the year, and drive my SUV the rest of it.

That being said, we drink a lot of soda at work, and people would just throw the cans away for the most part, but I collect them and haul them to the recycle place. The money is minimal, I just hate seeing refined metals that are easily recyclable go to waste, I don't do it to "be kind to the Earth."

I'm thinking I'll release some CFC's into the atmosphere... CFC's... there's something you really don't hear about everyday anymore. I remember in grade 3 doing all sorts of projects on them, but I guess 1988 was a bad year for CFCs.

I opened windows instead of using air conditioning. And realized it was earth day 10 minutes ago when i realized i missed the earth day event my nuke dept helped organize. (just heanding out fliers)

I walked to work today in celebration of Earth day.

Then again I walked yesterday too. And the day before that. And the day before that. (in the rain.) And probably tomorrow too!

It's a lifestyle choice, not a day.
