So what would happen if people started using horses again?

The police can't make you get off of a highway or interstate with a horse, correct? I mean it is still legal to use a horse as transport, right?

Just curious.

No horses on the interstate, it is illegal. AFAIK they can use regular roads.

Yep. Go visit Mackinac Island in Michigan sometime. They don't allow cars on the island. Only horses.

The world population might get solved from a lot of men getting their balls crushed.

I don't think horses are legal on interstate highways,
though I know in Amish areas, they do ride around on state routes and such ...

When I lived in Corpus Christi, Tx, I often saw people riding horses along the side of the highway on the grass. I'm not sure if it was legal or illegal but they were doing it.

You need to put a slow moving vehicle sign on the back of your horse, or you can get ticketed for going to slow.

Seems like the cost of maintaining a horse would outstrip the cost of paying 4 bucks a gallon for gas.

You'd have less free time/sleep time because you'd have to leave much earlier to get to work on time, and you'd get home much later too. Plus poop/maintenance of a horse, and they can get sick and die, and you'd have to replace it possibly more often than your car.

It'd make my job fvcking impossible with the amount of spare PC parts I have to carry around; the boot in my car is always full to the brim with toolkits, motherboards, power supplies etc.
I can just see that lot hanging off the side of a horse.
That and it'd take me hours to get into work.
