Probably the first year, I spend much of it with poop and pee in my pants and boy was it tough to get good service to clean up the mess all the time. I couldn't really do much besides lay around all day starting at the ceiling, and room service only had one thing on the menu which got old after a while.

That sucks man. It must have been annoying watching those bluntheaded morons make faces at me while talking to me in the most childish manner. God those clumsy bafoons and the disgusting gerber jam cans.
On a more positive note I had my food delivered to me. I could get anything I want by opening my mouth and shouting and crying for it. I didn't have to start the damn car and get myself to work, people moved me everywhere and things were free.

Seems to get progressively worse.

You can't keep looking back on the past ... just go forward with a good attitude. I think that's why I seriously have never had a bad year.
People have died, pets have died, and unfortunately accidents happen. My Grandma is in the ICU right now b/c her lungs filled with fluid a few days ago... not the best way to start the new year but you have to keep looking forward with positive thoughts. This year so far is turning out to be one of the best ever, even though the situation it started in.
