So what kind of music keyboard would you recommend for beginners?

After having not played for years, I'm wanting to get back into learning/playing the keyboard.

I'm looking for a sub $200 keyboard and wondering if anyone has any recommendations?

I've heard that touch sensitive is highly recommended, as are Yamahas and keyboards with MIDI interfaces. Thoughts?

I'd get a Yamaha. The one I used to have is the PSR-225. It had MIDI capability and sounded pretty good for a sub-$200 keyboard.

EDIT: they have the 225 on sale at musiciansfriend.com for $119.99 + shipping. Seems like a pretty good price (I paid $200 a few years back).

What I did was buy one of these USB keyboards and then get Reason 2.0 (free upgrade to 2.5) for $200 at musiciansfriend.com. It's much more powerful than a regular keyboard but also has a steep learning curve.
