I, for one, would love an MR-2 with an LS-1, or even the turbo 3.8 from the GNX. :)

How about a muscle car with a V8

...that revs to 9k? :)

they have those. they're called german V8's (audi RS4 V8 and BMW M5 V10 both have 8250 RPM redlines)

well, a, Toyota and GM already have hooked up.

it got you vehicles such as
Chevy Prizm/Geo Prizm
Chevy Vega
Pontiac Matrix
Toyota Vibe
and the japanese market Toyota Cavalier.

as for GM/Renault, dont hold your breathe, GM is seeing nothing in the deal.

Great responses gang!! (Some 'teh funny' in there too......LOL)

I forgot all about this dang thread yesterday (too friggin' busy lately).

Anywhooo................

I actually drive a 1995 Geo Prizm and love the car. HOWEVER...........I must say that this car basically *IS* a Toyota Corolla. Aside from the Geo tailights vs. Toyota and the slight differences in interior dash formation.........(I learned whilst shopping interior parts that they don't all match up)............it's basically 99% Toyota Corolla.

Sooooo.........I'd call that a success. *MY* personal fear is getting cars that are more of a one-model "blend" of ideas.............YIKES!!

And, yes, I agree.............if Ford & GM hookup........it's all over! You'd be lookin' at never actually OWNING your car from all recalls. You'd fill out the paper work & just leave it at the dealership. One recall after another, after another. You'd never actually take the car home................:p

Kia is Hyundai.

And I dont think GM is doing as poorly as everyone believe, they still own many different companies.
