The storm fay is moving westward. The weather folks describe it as a low pressure system.
There is another huge low pressure system moving down from colorado over texas and oklahoma and going east.

Will these 2 things colliding produce anything interesting?

Low pressure centers which develop outside the tropics develop into fronts.

this. the one from colorado dropped the temp from 106 to 75 for about a week. it was bad ass. its hot now again though.

whats funny is that the non tropic one has the same spinning shape as a tropical storm. it just produces much more gentle weather in comparison.

I don't know what that has to do with the question I posed. I was asking about the actual formation of a large area of low pressure (tropical or even non-tropical).
