So what happens to all the returned electronics that aren't *broken*?

PSP's with dead pixels, monitors with dead pixels, whatever with dead pixels, blemished hardware, etc... what happens to the electronics that aren't *broken* but aren't in mint condition that happened to be returned? Are they resold? Thrown away? Returned to the manufacturer?

I'm curious because (after hearing about all of these PSP returns)if they just throw them away I'm about to suit up and wait in the bushes until I see the manager throw out brand new PSPs with dead pixels - at which point a group of my ninjas will cover the perimeter as I retrieve them.

I always figured they were returned to the manufacturer and sold as 'refurbished' models after being checked out/repaired. But I've never worked in retail.

Yep

At the store level we would send them back to the manufacturer and evey now and then we would get a pile of products that were refurbished. It's the circle of life.
