say you had pc that did not have a software firewall (sometimes I have to temporarily turn it off)

and somebody from netherlands or florida sneaks in a trojan like the backdoor subseven trojan...

how do you scan or rid your pc of trojans....

The only way to guarantee the machine is clean is to reformat and reinstall from trusted media.

I don't.

For instance, some of the guys here, doubtless, have a trojan in their wallet. "Just in case". And they'll never, ever user it. Ever.

Plus, your answer sucks. Nef -1 for you.

if your pc has a trojan, and hard drive is partitioned into 2 parts, with D: being only for storage (mp3, video), is it good enough to just format c:?

How did you narrow it down to the Netherlands or Florida?

It could likely be inaccurate, but Norton Firewall suggests those places after getting the supposed IP of the attacker.

66.171.94.95 is the latest culprit... I get subseven trojan attacks every day since getting a cable Internet Feed...

My DSL feed hardly ever gets attacks.

doesnt NAV or any other anti-virus software for that matter get rid of that?

or get some anti-trojan program like tds-3, trojan hunter, etc.. to remove the trojan.
