I say let him go and move on. Don't cry and beg him not to leave....he's probably only been with one forum and wants to experiment with lots of other forums before settling down.
 
He's been posting on another forum that I frequent, bugging everyone and generally causing mayhem and chaos.
 
I think he went to England for a visit. Once away from the glow of the computer screen, he realized his wife was real and the sun emitted a warming glow that felt good on his pasty white skin. Over time as he was in England, he resisted the urge to enter the internet cafes for a quick online fix. Over time those urges subsided and he realized he could function without the hum of his computer and the tactile feel of his keyboard.

Either that or he is sleeping with the fishes.
