It's not too surprising though but a little overpriced. About six months ago I was looking to sell a Macintosh Powerbook G3 (400MHz with upgraded 320MB PC100 RAM, 20GB HD, ATi Radeon mobility 8MB, internal 802.11b but the battery was shot). An online reseller offered me $550 knowing that the battery was shot...they would have sold it up for about $700. This was less than six months ago.

This laptop had no floppy drive! LOL

I reformatted the drive, bought a new battery, installed OSX, and gave it to my daughter instead! :)

ha ha!! hey it is an old laptop but it can still be used for something very useful. plug it into a chipped ecu for on the fly data logging and programming ( = car crap!! :~} ). or think.... mobile rom burning, or how about a frisbeeeee!
