I remember seeing a couple of those super mini laptops in the news not too long ago. Whatever happened to them or the concept?
 
theres a bunch out there but not in the us.

sony has 3 or 4 in japan
the oqo is comming out soon but its weak...
and theres one or too more companys making them in japan..

search some import sites
 
They're still kicking around. If you check out a few Laptop magazines, I'm sure you'll find some. They're still relatively expensive compared to entry-priced laptops though. So you're paying a price premium for the small size as always.
