Hypothetical situation...

Let's say there was this girl I met a few days ago...

And, let's say I really liked her. Let's say I asked her to play badminton, and we ended up having quite a lot of fun.

Tonight I find myself asking her to do some things with me this weekend, and there's a certain familiarity to the path I'm travelling down.

Now, here's the catch... she will be in grade 11 next year, and I will be in first year university. Not so bad, really, except that I'm moving away for university -- a three hour drive away.

So, exactly how careless is what I'm doing right now, knowing that anything that happens has to end three months from now?

Enjoy it for 3 months, unless you're exclusively looking for a long-term relationship.

Advice 1(from experience). College student + High School student = bad mojo
Advice 2(from expereince). The worse regrets are for the things that you never do.
Advice 3. Your milage may vary with advice 1 & 2

Gotta agree with VI unless you are going long term.
I'm 24 my wife is 21 this year, I married her one year and 5 months ago.
I have been in college forever, she was still in high school while we dated. (which was for about 6 months before I proposed).
If you aren't in for the long haul stay away.
Good luck either way!

if shes cool with that, have fun!

Do you "really like her" three hour drive back worth, or do you "really like her" up the stairs and into bed worth? If the former, make a move. If the latter, just move.

What makes you so certain it won't end sooner?

"It" hasn't started yet. :)

But, none the less, good point.

I find nothing wrong with seeing this high school friend before going off to School. I'm sure if you're up front and honest with with her in advance she'll understand. I can remember some wild times with an occasional high school girl, so you shouldn't neglect any delightful learning experiences. You're both young enjoy!
