so what do you do when your company has been losing money for pass 2 Qs...

i would just falsify the results and buy massive amounts of my own stock to later sell them when sh!t hits the fan...

They're dying as well as GM and Diamier-Chrysler...

Toyota has figured out a way to make a profit selling what they're making, and GM and Ford don't know how to go about doing that anymore.

Ford not for a long time.

Ford and GM will never go out of business because the US govt will intervene like foreign countries do with their domestic automakers.

Who knows. Chrysler pretty much destroyed them, but they are building better cars now than they did in the late 90's.

Because they are only good cars, not great cars like their foreign competition.

Give them time. Things can improve considerably overtime; just look at Nissan. For some reason, Nissan has maintained a fairly good reputation in the States, but the truth is, it was a terrible company. If Renault didn't come to their rescue, it's hard to say where they'd be.

What the hell do you think they should do? Put up a big web page "We suck at running a car business, ridicule us, please!" and then put in an emo entry on myspace asking how this could happen to them?

Seriously...they HAVE to be optimistic.

God, people on ATOT are dumb.

Ford and GM really need to reduce over head or die. to bad the workers do not understand this.

I have owned a few Ford vehicles. never had any trouble with them. heck my F150's held up great. hopefully they git under control and turn around. having more choice in choosing a vehicle is good.

Aye, one of their biggest problems is overhead. GM spends more on healthcare than most companies receive in revenue. GM probably has more people on pensions than companies have employees. Simply look at how many people took the recent pay offs.
