So what do Christians think of Muslims and Hindus?

Do they think all these billions of people were just brain washed and ignorant?

Why do these other people worship their god just as much or probably more than Christians?

I am NOT trying to start a fight, but why do billions of people worship a god, but you think your god is the true one?

This is not a question for Christians, it's a question for a member of any religion.

Muslims and Hindus have fallen under the sway of a heathen religion. Read the bible, it explains everything.

I'm actually really curious about it. Every time I ask this question, it is ignored. How do the religious deal with different religions?

Evidently this can be anything from not care at all to the other extreme of forcing someone to convert or be executed. But I think we all know that from history as this has been done under the banner of numerous religions.

This will be my only reply to this post...

You cannot compare Muslims (Mono) & Hindus (Poly).

Christians, Muslims, & Jews have a lot in common, not going to get into it too much but the Bible, Torah, & Quran were sent down by the same god. Now what was first & what was last will come down to what religion you are.

They worship a false god.

And their religion is very violent. I have even seen videos where people who have proclaimed that they want peace and that the Muslim faith is a peaceful one, preach hate and violence against others.

There is even the belief that even the "peaceful" and law-abiding Muslims are only being that way in order to be accepted and gain access to other countries in order to attack them from the inside.

I don't know about Hindus being this way - or why you're comparing the two.

I'm just curious about the common mindset today. I wonder if they just ignore this question because it is inherently unanswerable in a rational manner.

I don't deal with different religions, I let them believe what they will. I'm confident enough in my own beliefs that this doesn't bother me at all.

Not true. If you read the Srimad Bhagvad ( Hindu religious text ) , you will realize that Hinduism is monotheistic and not Poly.

He's right. The Bible, Torah, and Quran all preach about the same God. The Quran was dictated to Muhammad because God determined that his past attempts had been corrupted by humanity. This is why each of the holy books refer to the same events and people.

Though, I am unsure to what you were refering to as BS, the comment about comparing monotheism to polytheism or the comment about the Bible, Torah, and Quran coming from the same God.

I contend we are both atheists, I just believe in one fewer god than you do. When you understand why you dismiss all the other possible gods, you will understand why I dismiss yours.
--Stephen F. Roberts

As a corollary to the above I offer that as a believer one will suffer eternal damnation in all hells except one. Pascal can go pound sand.

Explain. I'm not reading a religious text to see your point. And I'm going to have to agree somewhat with Odin. Not all muslims are violent, but the mindset in the Middle East is a very feudal and close-minded one.

I'll ignore your disgusting generalization.

When the Muslims being prosecuted under the rule of Quraish, the ruling tribe of Mecca that followed an idolatrous religion, fled to Axum, Quraish sent delegates after them in order to convince the Negus of Axum to send them back. Quraish sent him lavish gifts, and the Muslims there came with nothing, simply a plea to take refuge in his kingdom. After hearing both parties out, the delegate from Quraish, Amr ibn al Aas, knowingly tried to corner the Muslims and asked Jafar ibn Abi Talib, one of the Muslims present, what they thought of Jesus, as he had mentioned him while reading a verse from the Quran. Jafar replied that Muslims believe that Jesus was a pious man, that God had placed his soul inside the Virgin Mary, and that his message was God's own. The Negus had a cane/stick and in some accounts mace with him at the time, and drew a line with it in the sand. He told Jafar that the difference between them was no greater than that line. He reportedly died a Muslim as the Prophet Muhammad asked the Muslims to pray Janazah (Islamic funeral prayer) for him upon learning of his death.

I guess he counts as a Christian, no?
