Theoretically, I'm supposed to be cranking out DVDs that have to be shipped tomorrow, but I'm still waiting on the master tapes, artwork, and other materials to be delivered over here.
Not that I can't go from the master tapes (in this case it's all coming on BetaSP) to a completed product in a day, but more time is better, especially if there turns out to be a problem with the source materials. Having a chance to test the DVDs before going into production is a nice idea that most people don't budget the time for.
Oh, just got another message about it. No tapes tonight after all. The completed units still have to be FexExed out tomorrow, though.
And I guess I need to make a run to the airport. Someone off the net let me know that she'd bought plane tickets to come out to see me tomorrow. I'm sure she's a nice person and all that, but isn't it common to ask about these things first? I'd probably feel more enthusiastic about it if 1) I had time right now, 2) I were in the mood for company, and 3) I knew this person.
