so...we rented a cabin from this old lady in big bear...

- I punched a snowman that we made in the head (she was spying and said that people were knocking things over in the backyard)

- A spot was in the oven (she had to clean it)

- A shovel was missing (oh ya...we really stole a shovel to bring back to the OC...because there is so much snow here)

She's not refunding my friends $200 deposit because of the above...this little old whore was also peering in the windows while we were there!!!!!!!!!

Does Wayne Brady need to smack a B!T##*???????????

If it was me, I'd let her keep the money then run around town yelling about the bitch she is and then, when she sues you for defamation you'll get it all back because you wouldn't have been making up fake crap.

Geniuses think alike😎

*right before you start shoveling dirt over her in a 9ft deep grave*

"told you I didn't have it b!tch!"

Take your complaint to the local resort association or a rental agency, but if it was private party rental, you may be out of luck.

Sue for it in small claims court.
The spot is normal wear and tear,as in she should clean between guests anyway, and a shovel isn't worth $200.00.
A judge will return your money.

Tell her, "If you do not give my friend his $200, he will TAKE his $200."

And say it in an Eastern European accent like Borat from Ali G.

What does your contract say?

well it really does not matter. the deposit is to go back. t here is no way the spot and shovel equial $200.

I would take her to small claims myself.

Be an adult about it,send her a certified letter stating that if you do not recieve the deposit back she will end up in small claims court.

yep. chances are she'll cave. if not, she needs to be taught a lesson.

200 bucks for that lol!

house im in now, the deposit was £200, and the girls that lived in the house before us ****** up a lot of stuff, dismantled two desks and one girl never returned the keys....landlord docked them all £20 each and gave them £180 back each

Why oh why did you punch the Snowman in the head? 🙁 For that I will side with the old nice grandmotherly lady. 😛

Oh yeah, small claim court sound good. But then it is her words against your. +10 pts for her and - 10 pts for you because of age from the get go. Hehe.. 🙂

Well, at least 65$ to hire an appliance technician from Sears to clean the oven, plus another 20$ for the shovel. You'll probably get 100$ back from a lame judge who hates young punks that go on vacations with their peeps.
