So we now know what all the next gen consoles look like...

And we know at least partial specs on all 3, and that all 3 will have some sort of backwards compatibility with previous generation(s).
Who is going to end up buying all 3 of them at some point in time like me? 🙁
All 3 of them have features I like and will probably have exclusive games that the others don't.
I simply don't see any other way around it except to get all 3 and enjoy them as much as I can.
Who else here is with me in the consumer whore boat?

I will be buying the PS3 and Xbox for sure, we'll see on the Revolution. I didn't buy the GameCube, and only wanted to play maybe 2-3 games on it any way. So unless Nintendo changes something this time, most importantly the controller, I won't be buying the Revolution.

it all depends on the games released for the system.

I'll buy whichever box has some killer, must-play RPG's on it. I'd never buy a gaming system just based on the looks/specs.

who knows
i just bought an xbox last year
before that, i owned a sega genesis from 1990 until about 1995

i game on PC too, so i don't care too much about consoles

I'll do the same as I did with the last generation: Buy all three, but only when each system have games that other systems didn't have.

I'll definitely be buying a PS3. I have a ton of PS 1 and 2 games and Sony has generally gotten all of the good RPGs since the SNES stopped competing.

At some point I might have more than one. As a life-long nintendo fanboy though, the first one will likely be the Revolution.

I'd buy PS3. Had a PS2 and PSX so I'm looking forward to more Tekken, GT and GTA. The new games showed promise too.

Not interested in the Halo franchise after playing it on the PC so no XBOX for me especially as the demos or launch things didn't grab me at all. I bought a GC and 6 or 7 games, haven't used it for maybe 18 months or more. The games weren't that interesting although they were meant to be the must-haves... Haven't seen any official specs for the new Nintendo yet.

I'll be buying the Xbox 360
My roommate will be buying the PS3
And my brother (future 3rd roommate) will be buying the Revolution...

Roommates can be nice sometimes!

I already have two real PCs; I have no desire to buy more, especially ones that aren't upgradeable and can't do anything besides play games.

I bought a dreamcast at EBX for $20. That is the only console I have, and I dont plan on buying another anytime soon. The only time I would play console over PC is in a social setting, and in that case, most of my friends have them 🙂

I'm getting the Xbox360 and I'm thinking of getting the PS3. Have to see how it and my finances develops some more first

First day the PS3 becomes available for pre-order, I'll buy one. Not because of the recent footage, but because I own a GC and PS2 and I'm not dissapointed by either. GC mainly because of the fun factor (ie smash bros.). PS2 for the number of games.

Then again who am I kidding... I almost had multiple orgasms when I saw those PS3 game trailers. And I'm a guy!
