My dad, who used to raise rabbits for show, bought a little bunny yesterday. We have named it "Rusty."

It is currently living it a box that says "cat food." Pics, if needed, are pending.

Especially with it in the cat food box.

My wife has had 2 rabbits for the last 5 years, if you need any advice feel free to pm me.

They are sweet little bastards, smart too.

They litter train just like a cat.

so are bunnies easy to maintain? easier than a cat but harder than a hamster?

I've been thinking about getting a pet for a while, maybe i should get one too

they have a personality, cross between a dog and a cat.

Dog, they will run up to you and lick your feet and like to be petted.

Cat they like to be left alone sometimes, and are tempermental.

They require alot of care though, and vet visits, special food and vegetables.

They can get sick really easy too.

Dogs are cool but I'm too lazy to care for one. Also I'm afraid one day he'll run around and make a mess in the house. At least with a rabbit you can keep it in a cage or even a "cat food" box.

get some alfalfa hay and he'll be your buddy.

local pet stores have neat rabbit treats, also give him some card board tubes from toilet paper, they like too play w/ stuff they can throw.

We had a spare bathroom so we set up a child safety gate and let them have their own room. We also had a pen on stilts outside we would put them in for some fresh air.
