To play anything 3D on my TV? like to play wow, watch youtube etc? Because without it you can only do the samples correct?

You have to turn on stereoscopic 3D in the driver control panel.

What resolution and input cable (Dual DVI, HDMI, etc)? The exact TV would be beneficial as well. I have an Acer 27" 120Hz LCD with a built in emitter. It was as easy as plugging the screen in via Dual DVI, turning on the 3D in the control panel, and firing a game up. HDMI has major limitations if that is what you are using.

You only need 3DTV Play for certain scenarios. Anything that is intelligent enough to directly setup HDMI 3D (e.g. Blu-Ray software) is fine without it. However I believe the software is required for YouTube.

Waiting for that hologram sorta type 3d experience,or a home television to be affordable with 3d without the silly glasses, the technology is already here with products like the nintendo ds 3d,lets make it affordable and on a larger scale!

Affordable to me will be 50'' and $600 before tax for a name brand, but as even in a lcd 60hz flavor isn't even $750 yet,i would be more then likely waiting till hell froze over before replacing my 37'' insignia plain jane lcd 60hz t.v.

You've got at least 5-6 years to wait, then.
