Most people seem to have known what he was talking about.
It is not standard meatloaf procedure to make it and immediately serve it as sandwiches. Rather, it is normal to serve it fresh in slices with mashed potatoes and a vegetable side and then in the immediately following days serve it in sandwiches.
This is commonly shared cultural knowledge.

actually yeah. i do 95% of the cooking. so if we had something odds are i made it. she is not very good at cooking.

she just brought out sandwich's (i was not feeling well) to eat. didnt dawn on me until i was done.

the first day (when fresh) its ok. i pefer having it as a sandwich with eggs in the morning. hmmm.

but yeah i figured everyone would know what i was talking about when i said sandwiches heh
