No Lifer
We went to the humane society on monday, and checked out all the dogs. The only one I really liked had a sign that someone was going to be back to look at him at 6:30. We got there kinda late, so we couldn't take him into one of the rooms to interact with him. We went back tuesday and got there early enough. After spending 30-45 minutes with him, we decided he was our dog.
We're not 100% certain what he is, but he's about 1.5 years old, and a retreiver mix of some sort (most likely). Weighs 90 pounds, but he's underweight. He's a great dog, I don't know where he came from as the humane society said they picked him up as a stray. He knows sit, stay, and down, and rarely barks. He LOVES fetch, and we got him the same sort of toy he had at the society since one of the guys there said he seemed to love it (the guy seemed kinda sad to see him go). We named him Floyd. They'd been calling him moose, but Floyd seems to suit him pretty well.
