So, was it a good decision?

Honestly, I was bored. The only legitimate reason (as if I had one) I can give for moving my stereo is that I wanted to see how it sounded upstairs now that we took out the carpet and put in wood flooring.

Here is the before; this is a 5.1 setup with crappy center and surrounds. I only invested in my fronts and sub. IF I decide to keep it upstairs, I will bring up the rest of the speakers and perhaps my PC and use my 2001fp as the display.I will probably refrain from doing so though.

This is my current pc setup..you can see the left front speaker of my HT in this one

Here was the way my HT was setup using s-video and optical out from the PC.

Hideous flash shot

hmmm..luminance

Close-up of the system

Movie mode....:D...I over exposed it though....lights aren't as bright in person

It sounded GREAT for movies:D The carpeting and the smaller area made for a nice but somehwhat closed sound. It wasn;t muffled or anything, but there was no room for reflectio nand such s room dymanics were n't nocticable.

Close-up with tusk for good measure

Sharp shot of when I was done moving everything upstairs

Blurry, but it shows the nice view and the size...

Nice midnight classical atmosphere

Nice bright shot

I can;t wait until can invest in it again. I will most likely move the front to the rear as only my fronts and my sub are actually good. The surround and center pictured i nthe first pics are utter crap.

Hopefully I can get some nice Mirage OM's:D. That, and offload my reciever on my dad and get myself a nice NAD, Adcom, or just a better reciever.

So, do you like the results?

And yes, I am bastardizing and reposting this because I am bored.
