So was anything besides the iPod phone announced today?

I still don't understand how they plan to make money off iPod phone. Nobody I know will pay $2.00 to download a song.

True. It's also fair to say that people who may potentially be interested in that phone know a thing or two about MP3's, and a large percentage of them owns a MP3 player. If I understand it correctly, the main source of the revenue for this phone will be from downloads, not from the hardware. If so, a half-educated and somewhat savvy consumer is not likely to shell out $2 per song, which would equal ~$20-$30 per CD

Then again, there are plenty of people who pay for anything Apple throws their way.
