I've had my eye on this one for a while, love the concept. Wonder what all they will do with it.

too many failed 'dungeon keeperish' games in the last few years, so I'll just wait for "let's plays" and reviews.

I haven't really kept up with it, however I downloaded an early alpha when there wasn't even a real full game in there and it was very clear they were definitely on the right track to provide a true DK successor. I saw in later updates they were struggling a bit with game mechanics and completely scrapped and rebuilt some systems. That's a bit worrisome but at the same time positive since they apparently recognized a problem with the gameplay and focused on reworking it to be better.

Please list some, i would like to see more and judge them myslef.

WftO, in all my reading is pretty close copy and has the blessing of many of the old guard who made the original. But I have not played it,so its just reading. I do agree, to many "early" games that promise so much and deliver so little.

"Dungeons" was one of them. Just watching the youtube let's plays made me want to vomit.

I should add, "War for the Overworld" does seem like the most promising out of everything that has been a DK clone recently though. Also I should mention that they kept the same voice actor which should add a nice touch.

If you missed it or want to go back a ways, check out Evil Genius. Awesome game. Very DK-like. I put many hours into it.

Impire and Dungeons come to my mind.

DANG, was hoping for some I hadn't heard about. Dungeons was a travesty, using DK as a stepping stone. While it was a new twist on an old idea, as stated it seemed so broken, the mobs you had where so utterly weak you ended up doing he work all yourself, which was tedious, not fun. Art direction and style was nice, just not a good game. Impire was better, but closer to OVERLORD in top down then DK. I Liked it enough to play it some, but again, average. I must admit I am jaded, the wanna be's are so far, best left alone, so I can understand the reluctance to try more.

Oh Evil Genius was not to bad, the missions map thing was a bit annoying in my book, but a required part of game so while i liked the base building and such, that part turned me off.

Straight up clone with new monsters, new graphics, would be fine by me.

Oh and let's not forget the official Dungeon Keeper reboot by EA (the ones with the rights to Dungeon Keeper), for mobile platforms, even for EA it was really bad.
