you need to be more specific in your answers. my guess is anyone who votes 50K here doesn't have a SO.

50K could by another one. A better one.

Like I said in the other thread, I'd take the 50k over the proverbial ass rapage in Divorce Court.

I said nothing about happiness. Just you could buy a better SO. There are so many fish in the sea.

i'm not trading my SO for any money. i'd hope you wouldn't do the same. if so, i pity her.

not quite.

SO = spouse/boyfriend/girlfriend.

if you're willing to trade that "significant other" for money, then the realtionship shouldn't exist to begin with. why waste your time when you can be out "fishing?"

SO does not mean spouse. Spouse means spouse.

There is no commitment, you're still single. Unless you are married there is no commitment to stay with that person.

Hence why I'd take the 50K in a heartbeat.

If you won't take 50K for your SO, then why are you not married yet? Why? If they're that important why are you not married yet? Why are you not commited to them?

exactly, some people will have good relationships, others have sorta mediocre ones... so I can easily see how people would or wouldn't be willing to trade 50k

I'm just going to post the obligatory "Nothing can put a price on my right hand!" type post right now.

These threads get more and more redundant. The money, of course! It's easy to get a hot SO. :p

Like I said in the other thread, I love my girlfriend more than any material thing.

Money does not buy love or happyness.
