So UPS delived my Mame Cabinet Controls today.

Behold them, in their crappy picture glory!!!!

But my joysticks were backordered :| ARRHHHH, They shipped out today though, and so did my Ipac. So Hopefully by Friday Ill have it up and running, complete.

Ill have pictures of my finished product come this weekend hopefully. And Hopefully ill have a better camera then too if someone sells me one 😛

Well the buttons were 43 shipped for just the buttons, 2 players with 6 buttons each. 2 Coin buttons, a 1 player and 2 player start button and 2 extra buttons. pluss i got some stand offs and a few other misc things. The joysticks were on sale for 8 each. so around 60 shipped for it all.

I bought an ipac instead of hacking a kb or a sidewinder and being limited in my inputs. the ipac is simple as very nice at only 50 shipped.

Well I have some screws to buy, some connectors and wire, but at the end it will be somewhere near $500, that includes the computer 1GHz AMD with 512Mb ram, AIW video card, etc.... and the TV

You know if you are going to post a proper UPS thread, you first have to bitch and whine about not getting the box when you want it, then you have to complain if the package happened to get damaged in shipping...finally, you have to ask if UPS delivers on xxxx day at xx:xx time.

You are gonna love it man. I have an i-pac and an optipac. 2 player joysticks, 6 buttons each side... gotta fix the control panel so the trackball fits in it, tho. MAME is great fun and saves a lot of money! 🙂 I finally got speakers hooked up to my cabinet so now I can hear me kicking ass at X-Men vs. Streetfighter 😀

Well lol, they actually delivered it on time, I dont have trouble with ups in my area too much 😛. Gotta give them praise sometimes.

Yea I know I loved playing it with the kb but that got old thats what inspired this.

Im using a 300 watt amp and a small comp sub, hooked to some 5 1/4 car speakers, its a good brand i forgot what they are, and they kick pretty good too 😛......
