Newsflash Mr. President: World leaders routinely mock you behind your back. Both allies and adversaries alike. You may not be the first American President to suffer this fate, but I daresay you will be deservedly mocked more than any other President. Get over it.

(PS: Remember when he claimed that our country was a “laughing stock” under Obama?? Pepperidge Farm remembers.)

Think about this for a second. This is what allies are openly doing. Imagine how adversaries talk about him.

It'd be satisfying to have the leader of my country tell Trump to his face that he's a fucking moron, but there are economic concerns to be looked after and that'd be unwise. I definitely co-sign him talking shit about the fucking moron as publicly as possible though.

Running back home so HE can do the mocking instead. He'll get on Air Force One and start Twitter tirades against NATO and foreign leaders. Bank on it

Baby mad. Baby go home.

Can you imagine being 75 years old and that thin skinned?

Just waiting for a leak about him wanting to break off diplomatic relations with Canada while his advisers frantically trying to convince him otherwise.

Well, there's probably a Trump Toronto deal waiting in the wings. This will patch things over.

Recently I've been catching up on all the articles comparing Trump to the notoriously thin-skinned and diplomatically-inept Kaiser Wilhelm II. Probably old news to many, but somehow I'd missed them (I saw one reference to the idea, and googled, and discovered it's been a recurrent theme for a long time).

Funny thing is the one article I found sniffily disputing the comparison was (a) not very convincing, and (b) primarily concerned with defending the reputation of the Kaiser.

Just one example of someone making the comparison, for anyone who is as late to this party as I am

Do you think Trump is self aware about any of this stuff?
My Christmas gift to the world would be him suddenly gaining that self awareness, live on camera, in the middle of an address from the oval office.
Narcism and self awareness do not co-exist. I had one work for me. It's painful at review time.
