So one day, I decided to leave a blank DVD in my drive because it has an easier time opening whenever there's a DVD that's already inside it. I left it in there for about 3 days and I took it to burn something and...
I was just like, "Wait, what am I doing? There was already a blank DVD inside." and so I take a look at the DVD and I see a "burn" smudge underneath the disc. Like a chunk of the disc has been distorted (the burnable data).
What the hell just happened? And should I just buy a new drive and break down this drive to grab the laser?
