So.. uhh.. I touched a Segway on Saturday..

Recalled? I wasn't aware of that. I remember when this thing was all the hype before it was released as to what it actually was. It's interesting but never lived up to anywhere near the hype it generated. I would still enjoy riding one, though.
 
They recalled some of them due to a defect that would cause them to lose balance and people would fall off. They've got a new model which has had the problem corrected.
 
Yeah, they had one at my school because on of the administrators was wanting to buy one. A woman who works there took it for a test ride and ran into a bench. The bench wasn't bolted into the cement so it slid a good 15 feet down the lobby and right in front of the doors. Funny stuff.
