So uh, yeah, my computer is dead, i was playing eq2 last night, and once i went to bed i left it on so i could sell, but i woke up this morning, and it was off, so i figgured maybe the power went off or something and it just turned off and never rebooted, but nope, its definetly not turning on... any idea what the problem might be?

That happened last night too! Anyways, I could see my keyboard light still on. Turns out my PSU was dead.

Now lets hope when it died it didn't take a bunch of guest...namely your other components..cpu, ram, vid card, mobo,etc....

Better start testing...My PSU that died took out the cpu but left evrything else OK...Took some painstaking testing and borrowing parts though...

i don't know, all the clocks are still right, so i kinda doubt that there was one, and i think it was even running sometime this morning, because i fell asleep on the couch, woke up, heard it running, fell back asleep and then woke up and got up later on, when it was dead.

So wait, if teh power blinks, or if your PSU dies, you could fry parts???!

How can you prevent this?

It's most likely the PSU. The same thing happened to someone I know. Luckily, it didn't take out any of his other parts. I put in one of my PSUs and it started right up.
