I will be out by my local Micro Center this afternoon. I will be at the dentist office having my teeth cleaned. I've been having a slight itch to upgrade my gaming platform (MB & CPU) What I would do eventually when 14nm comes out is swap over the gaming platform to my main rig and for daily use including Microsoft Expressions Encoding, and other various encoding/ripping/etc duties which are few to far in-between. What I was thinking is either a 4770K with the MSI G45 or 65. My dilemma is the motherboard. And ultimately stopping the itch..
IF I were to succumb to the itch which MSI board would serve better for high overclocking? I understand the heat involved with Haswell. I do have an h20 ready case (800D) and I do have an old loop I used on a Yorkfield Q9650 I could pull out of my old case and install in the 800D (I think it would be a fun and neat project, if I do)
