So I bought B: AA over the weekend legit during a steam sale. I played it for 9 hours straight last night not even realizing where the time went. I was 69% through the game just after I got the toxin to kill Ivy's plants. Today, I loaded up my save, and it magically decides I'm starting from the beginning and it's overwriting my saved game with a fresh one
.
I guess Games For Windows Live couldn't get me online (might be part of the problem), but my account was still signed in. I guess I'm starting a cannonball run so I can get to the part I was at in say... 7 hours perhaps?
I don't have much time to devote to games anymore, so it's really depressing when games do this crap. It's a great game, and I'm hoping to get through it tonight within' 12 hours, but I probably shouldn't. I really would be on borrowed time. I just don't want to chance it not saving my game again...
Do you guys have any idea where the save could have gone? Is there a chance it's saved but on an offline profile? Where would the steam copy have the file? I've already looked in my documents for the Eidos folder and there isn't one. Thanks!
