Glad I didn't order a cast iron skillet with my HDTV now!

this is what you get for getting a cheapo cast iron pan. I bought a circulon pan and pot, they are boxed in a very nice package.

yeah, of course, Platypus deserved his order to be destroyed b/c of his choice in skillet.

Sure, whatever. Perhaps you should put a modicum of thought into your next post.

I bet I can cook a better meal out of a chaper skillet than whatever you can make in your fancier model.

Seasonal help maybe. It's just so out of the ordinary for them to fuck something up like that. Usually the crap I get from them is way over packed if anything.

This I worked at a place that shipped stuff for target.com 2 christmass ago. They hired day laborers. They were bums right of the street. I saw one guy pissing in a trailer as he was loading boxes. There was another guy that was cutting all the boxes open as he loaded them looking for stuff to steal.

Do you return a lot of stuff to Amazon? Maybe this is how they are repaying you? :)

I've never had a prob with their packaging. For me it's almost the opposite - for example a DVD will come in a larger box full of bubble wrap and packing peanuts.

I've never returned anything there before and my items almost always come very well packed.

I ordered the Lodge 12" cast iron pan by itself from Amazon, and it came in a box that was the right size and everything. The handle didn't puncture the box. Maybe they rushed the shipping job due to all the Xmas shopping craziness. I hope my electric water kettle comes in okay...

Did the package arrive late? Could have gone to the wrong address or something.. then got re-packaged in a hurry?

My favorite package was from newegg.

I got about about 2'x1'x'1 filled with packing peanuts. Inside was a box about 12"x8'x'6" fill with packing peanuts. Inside was a box about 6"x4"1" filled with packing peanuts. Inside was my flash drive.

Note, off screen the handle of the pan coming out of the side.

How the FUCK did this even get shipped out of there? The box is 3x too big for the contents and they shipped a heavy ass cast iron skillet along with 5 or 6 other plastic items, all of them completely destroyed. I just got off the phone with them and they're replacing all of the plastic items for me so that's nice of them but seriously what the fuck? That's worse than anything I've ever received from ebay and this is from a professional company.

This is what I saw when opening the box:

And its amazing their stock is doing well

That is pretty close to how they packed my skillet I bought from them about 4 years ago, though the box wasn't quite as oversized as yours, it was wrecked with the handle sticking out.

Well 2/3 came packed quite well, I'm glad because that had all my le creuset stuff in it :p

However, the replacement package filled with my CDs was literally a cardboard envelope with NO packing material in it.. about half an inch of cardboard protecting jewel cases. One of them got cracked AGAIN, the other survived amazingly. Are they seriously just fucking retarded? Grr. Let's hope 3/3 isn't as ridiculous.

They do that, I've ordered something like 500 CDs this past year and they send them cellophaned to a single piece of cardboard. Some CDs do end up cracked. I once got a box that was packed pretty well with CDs so that they couldn't move or get damaged, but that was because I ordered a ton in that shipment.

I'm on a 1080p screen and I still have to scroll for all axis.
Try reading this on a laptop like some ATOTer's.

"1080px × 807px (scaled to 979px × 732px)"

doesnt look too bad on my 17" lappy screen. barely even down scales it.

edit:
note to self. order pillows when getting stuff from amazon
