So this guy took the html from an old ebay auction of mine.... and didn't bother to host the pics himself.

Owned.

Not even pwned - just straight owned.

"The picture is the chip you are getting!" Ouch.

Can't you put a less morbid pic, though?

holy sh!t! i think i've been there (the said distrubing pic) when i was visiting relatives in china a few years ago

so is photobucket good as an ebay host?
i use imageshack but a lot of times you cant overwrite the pictures so if its stolen by another a-hole ebay seller, you're SOL unless you report it, and then ebay will take 5 months to take actions.

Yah that's disgusting. You should put something like a pringles chip up.

Agreed, this will make sure it stays up longer! Great idea! It's too bad you can't change the photo in his title though.

In that case you're punishing innocent eBay browsers just as much (if not more) than the guy who stole your HTML code.

I would limit the picture to something that points out the theft without disturbing or horrifying any of the auction viewers.

First it was someone with an axe in their head, then the goatse pic, then someone who jumped off a building and hit a volvo. The axe murder and suscide pic can still be seen online on rotten.com. :)
